Dessert was good. Had the Carrot cake and German Chocolate Cake. Person at the counter was very pleasant and willing to serve.

I love this place, the best catfish in LA! The cookie gal breakfast was yummy, the bacon cooked perfectly and fried potatoes with peppers are delicious! Service friendly and food comes out quick! I need to try desserts
Ms Alma is everything, she is super nice and friendly. This makes all the difference, the food was good especially the lemon cake a fried chicken. Custom Service is everything.
I really enjoyed eating here. I had the catfish filet entree and was blown away by the flavor. It is definitely worth the wait. I had the red beans and rice on the side. It was sooooo good. I want some more. The food is so delicious, I can't wait to go back. The service is excellent. The cashier was so sweet and nice. He was doing it all and with a smile. I loved the ambiance but it's not really made for sitting down for long. Don't get me wrong it is a very beautiful set up but it is tight. It is designed for small groups of maybe two to four but nothing larger. All the desserts looked so good and fresh. I wish I had tried one oh them but I will make it my mission next time to do so. If you are in the Compton area and you're looking for some good food for your soul, this is the place to go. I'm looking forward to my next visit there.
Alma's was BOMB! Service was nice and pleasant. Was told the wait was 20 min, ended up being 10. Very nice and pretty ambiance to enjoy or wait for your food. I ordered the catfish meal, 3 sides and cornbread. Catfish 10/10!! All the sides did NOT disappoint. Will be returning.
I was in the area and had Alma's bookmarked on places to try. I'm glad I stopped by. Upon entry the decor was so modern and welcoming. It was very clean and the ventilation system was doing a great job I didn't smell anything frying. I got the catfish mac n cheese greens and corn bread muffin. Everything was full of flavor, seasoned and cooked just right. The customer service was even better. I totally loved my Alma's Place experience.
